Model of the Wave-Field Photon

By: Thomas Lee Abshier, ND

o The side to side oscillations of the E field, and the vertical oscillations in magnitude of the Magnetic field packet vary over the longitudinal extent of the photon.

o The photon concentrates its EM field entirely within a distance of one wavelength, and its amplitude likewise extends ½ wavelength on either side of the photon’s central axis of travel.

o The wavelength of a photon is defined as the distance a wave travels while the field strength varies over a cycle of 360°.  The field energy of the photon is concentrated in an axial region of over the wavelength.  Its amplitude extends its effect to a distance of 1 full wavelength because the wave propagates out ½ wavelength on either side of the axial center as it propagates forward at the same rate.  The distance traveled forward in one cycle is equal to the distance the field propagates off of center in the same period.
